Fresh From Florida 250 – Daytona International Speedway (Friday, February 13, 2026)
John Hunter Nemechek teamed up with Halmar Friesen Racing for the season-opening NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event, piloting the No. 62 DriveValue.com® Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in the Fresh From Florida 250 at Daytona International Speedway. This outing marked Nemechek’s return to the Truck Series and a milestone 150th start in the category, joining a stacked field that included Cup regulars and veteran competitors.
In a dramatic, overtime-extended race, Nemechek ran competitively throughout the 102-lap event and battled up front in the draft late. On the final lap, he was narrowly edged on the high side exiting turn 4 but finished 5th overall, delivering a strong result against a deep field.
His performance helped underscore the competitiveness of the new two-truck HFR operation, with teammate Stewart Friesen also scoring a top-10 finish (10th) in his first Truck start since returning from injury.
This result provided excellent early momentum for HFR’s expanded program and delivered meaningful exposure for DriveValue.com® on a superspeedway stage, showcasing both speed and teamwork in one of the sport’s marquee events.
