Parker Retzlaff to Drive Sports Illustrated Resorts No. 62 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro for Halmar Friesen Racing at Nashville Superspeedway

STATESVILLE, N.C. May 26, 2026  — Halmar Friesen Racing announced today that Parker Retzlaff will pilot the Sports Illustrated Resorts No. 62 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, in conjunction with LEGACY MOTOR CLUB in Friday night’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Nashville Superspeedway.

The event will mark Retzlaff’s first start with Halmar Friesen Racing as the team heads to the 1.33-mile concrete oval for one of the premier events on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule.

Retzlaff, a native of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, has continued to gain experience across NASCAR national series competition with starts in both the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The 22-year-old has built a reputation as one of the sport’s emerging young talents while competing against veteran competition throughout his NASCAR career.

“I am really excited for the opportunity to race the No. 62 this upcoming weekend for Halmar Friesen Racing,” said Retzlaff. “I feel confident in our ability to perform well for our partners at Nashville with the group I have behind me. The guys have worked extremely hard on our truck to succeed.”

Nashville Superspeedway is known for its unique concrete surface, tire management challenges and fast-paced racing under the lights.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Nashville Superspeedway will air live Friday, May 29 at  8:00pm/etFriday night on FS1.
